So listen, last year I started playing Maple again with my old 74 Hermit, I got him to 81, then in December I made a CB. But then I got hacked. Then I made a 46 Lowdex dit, and 32 dexless sin. I got banned for a month. After a month , I still havn't decided on which to play. I've been playing my Sin, I leveled him to level 37. I love both of the Jobs, but I can't decide on one. I really like having fun, and from experience I know both of them are so much fun. NOT JUST CBS ARE FUN, HERMITS ARE TOO. <-- For the people that say "CB for fun, Hermit for Damage"

keep leveling both at the same time or check out which one you'd like the most in 4th?

I've been told to keep leveling both, but here's the problem - I want to have a high level, not two "average" levels. It'd be a pain to constantly switch off characters.

It'd be a pain to constantly switch off characters." i try to be helpful in alot of threads, mostly warrior ones though :P but looking at which one your gonna want more in the long run (like 3rd or 4th job) can help you determine which you might want more, look at youtube vids to decide.

Well I've had both in 3rd job. 85 CB and 81 Hermit. They were both so much fun. CB - Bombed at Himes with priest and another CB, absolutely so much fun regardless the meso loss. Hermit - Went to windraiders with Sniper friend and was also very fun.

training spots shouldn't help you determine what class you want to be and your only choices would be to watch youtube vids or try out a Pizza Slice to see what both are like in 4th job

So that's why I'm in this controversy. I love both CB and Hermit in 3rd.

I can ONLY say what I said before: level the two of them. Nobody's going to laugh at you and I don't really know why you want one high one rather than two of equal level anyway. o_O" That way you can play both characters, that you like equally as much. For me that would count more than having a high level.

Go with CB if you don't expect to get to 4th. I do the other way around, training the Hermit and going on the Bandit when I am bored :P
