Why isn't there a pirate shield?

I was wondering why there is a maple shield for every other class but not pirates. Doesn't that give us a disadvantage? Thanks if yuu helped.

well, pirates (and all other classes) can use shields in Peanutbutter Sammish, but of course those r against the rules

YOU. they created the game, they decided that pirates would be overpowered with sheilds, end of story. yes, we can all see you can technically carry a shield when you are a brawler since they only seem to punch with 1 hand, but that's not what they want to do...I aslo dont think a shield would make much sense with a gunslinger, but i guess it could work with them too....the fact is they didnt want to try to do that, if you dont like it, go talk to nexon, not basil...

Why don't Dexless Assassin weild like 27 wep.attack shields?...Oh wait...Claws = 2 handed.... Just like guns....and knuckles....= 2handed weapons...with 2 hands full...which hand is gonna carry a shield...
