My only problem is why the governor pretends like she is arbiter on this issue. Why not hold a vote like in California to decide what the people want?

How is this elected governor doing her job when she arbitrarily makes an ethical decision for the population. If the people want gay marriage then they can hold a referendum for it. This isn't justice, it's just politicians playing their agendas.

People are still up in arms here in Iowa, they want to vote on the issue.
