My friend, Damon, is a Vista user. And as many of you know, thanks to the new HackShield that MapleStory has put up, vista users must click on ''patcher.exe'' to connect to the game. He has been doing this for awhile, and it worked fine. However, just today, when he clicked on it, it gives him this message: link It would be really helpful is someone can please assist him. Just leave the helpful advice here please :]

Funny how people blame it on Vista when something doesn't work.

Oi, stop flaming people. It's actually me who asked my friend to post this, so all you skeptics about "my friend", rack off D: And yes, it should be vista because it works fine on my sister's computer ( Which is not vista FYI) If you got nothing constructive to say, please just go away ^^

You're installation was corrupted. Uninstall Maple completely, delete MapleStory folder where it was installed, and reinstall. I bet the error doesn't return. And if you haven't get all the latest updates for Vista, including Service Pack 1.

Just unistall maple, and reinstall it. That's what I did. And then it worked fine. :o
