Marksman. In the right hands, they're nearly untouchable when training, and they're also good at bossing (though not as good as Bow Master, but that may soon change with the Tespia updates (if they ever come)). Rangers are too reckless in my opinion, i like to be able to freeze and hold down my prey as i blast them with strafe or go for a quick kill with Pierce or Snipe. It's a lot more satisfying in my opinion then NEEDING to stun to avoid damage, makes training a lot easier and reduces pot buying by a great amount.

spiritrivaltomshv said: "Well I wanted your opinions not mine." Often times, people create these types of threads to try to find out which class is more fun, so that they can pick that class. What they don't know is that people's opinions don't really matter. smockingbomb said: "Marksman. And unfortunately, Blizzard lowers damage per minute. So although you may be wasting less Potions, you aren't reaching full training potential.

I've tried to make an x-bow, but only got it to 43 when I decided it was too boring to continue. That's just because I /personally/ had way more fun using arrow bombs throughout second job. Plus, I tried 4th job on a PS, and hurricane is kickassss. 8D But it basically all comes down to speed/ fire or power/ ice. I just happen to be a pyromaniac in love with speed.

The honest truth is, most of us here, with a few exceptions, don't have equal experience with both classes, so we're not really informed enough to make an actual statement one way or another. Both classes are highly similar until you get to 4th job, and even less of us have sufficient experience with both BMs and MMs.
