go to C:/nexon/maplestory and doubleclick the MapleStory.exe the current "shortcut" is linked to C:/nexon/maplestory/database, wich doesnt exist. so fix the shortcut or make your own.

... you have to be kidding me anyway, doubleclick on 'This Computer', and then doubleclick on the hard drive icon wich has C: next to it. Then you get a map structure, and you doubleclick on NEXON. then you see a new map, and double click on MAPLESTORY. Finally, find the mushroom icon with the name MapleStory.exe, rightclick it, send to > desktop. Then (yes then) once you doubleclick on the shortcut (or the maplestory.exe file) you can start maplestory. Finally (not needed) you could replace the OLD shortcut (in the Start menu) with the one on your desktop.

1. Click on the "Start" button. 2. Click on "My Computer". 3. Double click on "C:". 4. Find the folder called "Nexon" and double click on it. 5. Double click on the folder called "MapleStory". 6. Find the file called "MapleStory.exe" and right click on it. Then click on "Create Shortcut". 7. A shortcut will now be created. Drag it out of that folder onto your desktop. 8. Double click it and enjoy playing MapleStory

Are you guys sure you aren't misinterpreting what he is saying? He says he deleted Maple off his computer. Ergo, it is no longer on his C drive....or perhaps it is I who is misunderstanding.

You know how you have a Nexon folder in your computer's documents? Well.. open that up, and instead of clicking the little mushroom on your desktop, click the little mushroom inside of the folder to get on. That should work The thing is, the little mushroom on your desktop is a 'shortcut'.. which means, it connects to the little mushroom in the folder, but after the patch, the connection doesn't work anymore. So if you don't want to have to be clicking on the folder mushroom forever to log in, simply replace the desktop mushroom, with the folder mushroom. Hope this helps.. i tried to put it in simple terms. ;)

There is nothing wrong with his MapleStory, its just that he didnt know where to find the program itself (or am i wrong this time? lol) |
