swine flu (overhyped or underestimated)

personally, the way i see it, the swine flu hasnt killed too many ppl. hasnt even reached the thousands from what ive heard. its lethal abilities are not that much different from the flu either. same symptoms and they can both kill. its just that there is a vaccine for the flu. there are also ways to treat swine flu: tamiflu, antibiotics, ect. its spreads through air like the flu. the only difference from this and the normal flu is that its new, it has a different name, it has a known origin, and it kills less ppl so far. now, i know its to soon to be completely sure of its lethality, but as of so far, it doesnt seem to dire. i know it should be publicized because quarantine at early stgs are most effective. but what do you guys think? dont you think its a bit overhyped? if not, do you think it is underestimated? or maybe you think that the amount of publicity for the swine flu is suitable. whatever answer you choose, please defend it (providing link to a source would make your arguement stronger).

There is a treatment for swine flu but no vaccine x_x it's somewhat deadly in Mexico more.

The difference between this and other versions of influenza is that this is a biological weapon. It is designed to do one thing: Kill strong ppl. That's all. It is a genetically-altered version of H1N1 made w/ swine biological matter to cause it to jump species. H1N1 was a failed attempt, whereas A-H5N1 has succeeded in airborne species-jumping. Both are biological weapons designed to mass genocide the population, and were released into what those I know of consider third-world nations for live human testing. It purposely done, and that's the threat, regardless of whether or not this version works. If it fails, don't worry, they'll mutate it again in a lab until it does. Don't believe me? ha. fine.
