Think! Help! Rawr!

| So yeah. About a day ago or two, my keyboard on my pc ( im on a laptop now ) has broken down. Literally! I tried restarting, closing and opening, plugging it back in and out, and cleaning the keyboard. But none of these will work! So if u know a solution please help. Also, when i plug the keyboard in to my computer, the three lights flash ( scroll lock, caps lock and num lock ) but then it goes away and then the keybaord doesnt work again! please help. And any suggestions would do good also! |

 | Try another keyboard and see if it does the same thing. If so, then the port is probably bad. Otherwise, you just need to get a new keyboard. |

| Hey, do u have VISTA? Cus i have the same problem too. But do this.. try.. going on the computer with a different keyboard. Just keep two running, and everytime one keyboard doesnt work, switch it. Good Luck(: |

| Well, i have vista, and you can try this. -Go to control panel -click on Hardware and Sound. That will take you to a window that lists different software and hardware. -;Scroll down to the option that says Device Manager. You will find a link that says View software and devices. Click on that. -You will need to give permission to the computer again. Do that. Now skim down the list that has stuff like Computer and Disk drives and Display adapters. Go down to Human Interface Devices and click on it. -You will see something on the drop-down list that says USB Human Interface Devices. Right-click that and select Uninstall. Allow your computer to uninstall the hardware. After it finishes uninstalling, pull out the plug for your keyboard and replug it back in. -After that, your keyboard should be as good as new, up and running! |
