Well my school year has ended (yesterday) BUT one of my instructor told me to "buff" up an essay i wrote I am right now getting 18/30 and that is 60% If I buff it, it can reach maybe some higher mark (or even lower!) I am afraid that it might go lower than 60% if I change it and the instructor does not like it I only have 3 hours left to hand it in T_T I am getting so lazy since my holidays started

Depends on your standards yourself. I for one, am still a sophmore and don't care about marks, but if you are farther in to school, I would start focusing. That's how I plan on going. 3 hours wont give a good quality essay, so i say don't rewrite it.

D: Well, if the teacher gave you another chance to fix it, I think you should respect the fact that he gave you the chance and just work hard to perfect it. Don't settle for a C just because you don't feel like doing it. 3 hours is more than enough time. imo. D:

In my school if they give you a chance to re-write and you get a lower mark, they use the highest one you got

I got it back yesterday and I got a 15/15. But it's only freshman year honors world studies. But hhey, I write all of my essays in less than 45min or else I won't write it at all. Somehow I manage to get all B's and above.

Auspicious said: "Isn't 60 an F?" no not where i live or what school i am going to 49% and under is a F and it gives u a 0 GP then 50%~59% is a D and it gives u a 1 GP and then 60%~69 is a C it gives u a 2 GP well 60% is a C- but i did good in the exam so i rounding up 70%~79% is a B and it gives 3 GP 80%~90% is a A and it gives u a 3.5 GP 90% and over is a A+ and gives u a 4 GP in the end of three years u need a 2.2 GPA to go advance (or what ever it is called) u need a 3.0 GPA

But like Elu said, if you're given a chance, do it, I just take too long.

yes do it, the teacher will more than likely not lower your grade, he will respect the fact that you want a higher grade

This is an AP Lit course mind you.. Or was.. I graduated from high school already.
