rant about box event

About the box gach event. I remember being a noob, seeing high levels with rare items, such as the palette shield, one time a blue metus, and another time with a dragon khanjar, thinking they spent countless hours getting the mesos to buy such a rare item. It was amazing how rare they were, and the pride of wearing them must be great. The box gach event totally ruined all of those rare items. I mean come on nexon, think for a little bit. Its great that they can rack up the cash, cause players want the rare items...but now there are hardly any rare items left to collect! The only ones I can think of are the 06 and the 07 blue maple dana...that's it. I was going to buy a palette for 550 mil, as it shows wealth, and rareness, but no. I'll just wait a week, and get one for like 10 mil. /end reminiscent rant.

I agree Look at Stonetooth prices. They used to be 150mor so and now, they are as common as candy. I eve saw one for 2m. >.<

Yeah, I remember i use to take SS of every rare item someone had but now it's like almost every item is common... Btw why do nexon make it nx cards only? I mean i use nx cards but why would it matter to them? Is it because pay pal and stuff charge? So it's more of a profit if they get everyone to buy the cards?

Actually NX cards are less of a profit than paypal for them I believe, since retailers get part of the money. On-topic, I agree to an extent. I always enjoyed the idea of having really rare items to work for, and Nexon's just handing everything out like candy via these box events. Still it's not like anything from the boxes is going to be absolutely common and a giveaway, they're just making things easier to get. The more chaos scrolls, the merrier.

I hardly train at all...I use maplestory for talking with friends, and merchanting.

The true sad part is... that so many people desire attention so bad, and try to get that satisfied through items... in a game. It's just a game. When you're not playing, the palette shield will not be standing on the floor next to your bed =) True popularity is not acchieved through items or money.

I really hate this event, it was fun working hard and saving for a Dragon Khanjar, now they are so common and cheep, i dont even know if i want one.
