Maplestory on Linux? :O

I just got a new Linux computer, and I am wondering if Maplestory can run on Linux or will it mess up my computer? Thanks :P

Well you can look at the mimimum standards on the maple website link scroll down a bit then it says and if you cant be bothered to go to the link it says: Min: Windows98ME/2K/XP. Rec: Windows 98ME/2K/XP Im not really a techy sorta guy but i dont THINK any of that says Linux o-o

your best shot is using WINE to emulate but no it most likely wouldn't work

I don't think it would work. I doubt Linux was created with gaming in mind.

Try WINE. If that doesn't work, you a program to virtualize Windows into Linux. For that, try VirtualBox and a copy of Windows.

I remember reading somewhere that it's been close to achieved. However, it's not so much Maple Story that's the problem, but Gameguard that currently refuses to work on Linux.

You will have to use the WINE emulator, not positive that it will work though.
