Friends, What should I do?

So, I was just thinking what your opinions were on wheter I should try to make friends or not.. Because you know, Im one of those people who are like invisible, no one at my school (basil-cally the only place to find friends other than some good family friends) Cares about me one bit, other than the "I hope you dont die sort of way" actually of lot of my "friends" think I should die. Before you start judging me saying "OMG ur rude and ugly" I can assure you 5 things 1. This is not about racism or being Ghay (which im not) at all 2. I am not ugly, (take my word for it) its not about being ugly or fat or anything 3. I dont hurt or treat others badly other than the occasional insult. 4. I have some friends, but I'm always the kind of guy at the bottom of their friend list. And they just dont seem to be good friends other than a random "hi" sometime 5. I am really bad at social-ness, it used to be ok last year, but now I seem to have lost it I dont take drugs, my grades are fine, I play sports, And I mean even the people who i was best friends with, now just dont like me too much anymore, im beggining to lose hope in my friendship I am the least interesting person EVER I mean I have never anything to talk about, no one to talk to, and nothing is interesting about me at all. (well nothing any1 would care about) Even the girl I like (who used to me by best friend-girl last year) Ignores me, anytime I ask she's like Oh ya your my bud, sure But she ignores me and doesnt talk to me too much anymore Like today, I went to pick up my sister and saw one of the only friends who still considers me a friend anymore ( a little) there too, so i talked to him a second, he said hi, but i had nothing to talk about so he talked about his new GF and such. THEN the girl i like appears out of nowhere, (well my school is pretty close to the school my sis goes to) and starts talking to us.... Well to him, I just stand there while they laugh and chat and shoot some hoops at a court close by, they didnt even say bye to me when i left, I was nothing to them.... If you read this all, thanks what should I do

im in the same situation. im pretty much a loner but i have a few friends i hang out with at lunch

i know it sucks man, but just try to join in conversations more, or try to find people that like the same things as you, and don't worry, it will get past you cuz i've been through those times, and now i'm still recovering but its going along great

friends are essentially people that allow you to not sit in a room alone anyways, my suggestion would be to start being more interesting

Yeah, well, basil-cally I think you should try to make more friends. Watch Yes Man, then follow the 'covenant'. But don't be stupid and say yes to drugs or something. And how old are you?

I used to be shy. You can grow out of it, try to learn about more current events, such as sports, stuff that's happening around you. You find it easier to talk about something if you have some knowledge about it.

Take the initiative. Don't wait for friends to come to you, you have to come to them. Strike up a conversation, join in on discussions, participate in class, etc. I know it's hard if you're socially awkward, but if you put yourself on the spot then someone will eventually find an interest in you and speak up.

also try to join more extra curricular activites, clubs, other stuff, that REALLY helps, helps me, should help you
