Maxing both attacks would give you 1 Slow, 1 Partial Resistance, 11 Booster, and 19 Seal. Maxing one attack would give you max Slow, 1 Partial Resistance, max Booster, and max Seal. Maxing neither would give you max Slow, max Partial Resistance, max Booster, max Seal, and 10 Magic Armour xD. I'd say max one attack, just in case you're a bit tired of Cold Beam/Magic Claw at this point. I'd suggest Elemental Composition over Thunder Spear because it has a higher damage per minute. You could max Thunder Spear instead if you want but it doesn't really matter too much. If you intend on getting far enough into 4th job to get Chain Lightning, it will replace both skills.

Because I'm apparently weird, I like to max all my attacking skills except for bolt. My build leaves me with Max Ice Max TS Max Compo Max Amp Max Booster 10 Seal 1 PR

Do NOT max Thunderspear, I'll tell you why in a second. First, this is my build: MAX Ice Strike Get 3 Amplification 11 Booster Max Amp. Max Ele.Composition Max Booster Max Seal Put rest into TS or Ele. Resistance (I have one point in it btw, i recommend TS) So yeah.. My reason why is because: When you reach 120, you'll probably max out Chain Lightning 14x, unless you're rich (blizz 20 and 30 each cost at least 15mil, plus, training is fast, but costly, you'll lose around 4-6mil/hr, sometimes more) and even if you max out blizz to 30, you'll only be at 130. Unless you have 200-300mil, for MW, you only have chain lightning left don't you? Its the best bossing and mobbing skill in your whole i/l career. And when its maxed, its going to surpass the damage of TS, plus, its at least 2 times faster than TS. If you look at 3rd job training, you'll probably be training w/ composition unless you can KB the monster ur training on every single time, but I think you'll still get hit even if you KB the monster (I trained at vikings w/ TS, which KBs them, but still got hit) You'll probably end up training at himes or red wyverns in the 11x, do you really want to get hit by their annoyying magic attacks when you kill them one-on-one? I don't think so. Furthermore, composition is faster than TS. Here's another reason you should max seal rather than TS: You need it for newties training. Either newties or Skelegons, most people are lazy to walk around the map at skeles, and the spawn isn't as great as @newties. All my i/l AM friends trained there for at least 10-15 levels. (most start from 135, where training w/ blizz isn't a option anymore, grinding w/ Chain lightning would be damn slow) And when you stand on that platform, wouldn't u get hit by the newtie beside you every time it spawns, and no, you'll get hit before you even cast blizz, 'cause there's a delay, when you cast blizz, it freezes the monster like 1sec after casting it <-----you'll get hit w/ its magic attack 60% (NOT proven, just an estimate) of the time, so its in your best interest that you use seal everytime you see it spawning. Sorry for this huge compilation of my knowledge >.< IF you didn't read the above, just don't max TS, put points into it when you have left overs. Conclusion: Max all except 1 point in Ele.Resistance, rest into TS Ty for reading, hope this helps ^^

tonyyezj 04/20/09

Selling leech gets you nowhere, you'll get 5-7%/hr (proven on my friend's lvl121 i/l, with a level 80 in the party leeching, she got 5%/hr, w/o 2x) That's really sucky exp is it not, I'd rather grind w/ Ice strike and Chain Lightning for 10%/hr. And bigfoot, why would u want to solo it? And how is that you need TS for BF but not composition? Composition's faster. And really, there's NO WAY a 3rd job i/l mage could solo bigfoot. It'll take at least 2 hours, and a lot of pots. Prove me wrong by linking me a youtube video of a i/l mage soloing bigfoot. and it doesn't drop a lot of good stuff.

Unless I made something maxed at 30 instead of 20, that should be right. Well, if that's true, I'm definitely maxing Seal. :P |

lol doesn't really matter which one you pick - so long as you're having fun with it. The usual argument is that one's faster than the other and does more dpm , whilst the other is slower but can KB earlier. Personally I use comp probably once every few minutes at comp and ONLY to KB the nest golem that walks towards me. That aside , I no longer use either of my single atk moves (cold beam/comp xD). APQ = lightning :D.

Er I would max out both because PR is pretty much useless? i know its like 10% useful, but you can do lots of things with Thunder Spear
