Funny thing with avatars

I tried to submit a new avatar, but it was rejected and I got a 24 hour avatar-submitting suspension. Okay. I'm a gray blob now. It shows me as a gray blob at the top left of the screen. BUT, when I post it shows my other characters' avatars. My avatar for making the thread (at the top) is different from the one for posting (a little lower on the page). Was it made to be like that, or is it a site glitch? Just curious.

Yeah, it does that to a lot of people. In reply posts, you're a gray blob, and in thread starting posts, you're the second character you put on your Basil ID. And it's a 6-hour restriction, not 24-hour one. Mr. B just forgot to change it. ^^
