Whats with these rumors?

Lately i been hearing alot about trade hack,chat hack,fm hack and things like that.My friend even said he got chat hacked,are all of these really possible?

I don't know how chat hack and trade hack should be possible :S The rumours are old though... "I was chatting with *insert IGN* and logged off, when I tried to log in someone was on my account". And trade hackers should apparently be able to steal an "agree" from you. I don't know, they seem improbable to me. But there are guilds who D/C hack the Free Market. In Broa those would be NeoMarket, NeoShops and PaperChasers.

Bello's too small to have any d/c hackers; I think those remain in the 3 original servers (Scania, Bera, and Broa) and Windia . Also, those "hacks" are just excuses for doing something stupid, like getting scammed or losing something great in a dg .

Pavchka mostly said it all. There is no Proof that trade hack and chat hack do exist. Its all a bunch of rumours, but there is D/C hack.

Albeit from very limited knowledge I could only give any possible legitimate reason as to anyone being hacked by these means due to something like packet-sniffing and the 'victim' actually using something else at the same time like logging in to the Nexon website and entering password etc... Directly - absolute bull. Indirectly / combined - remotely, minutely, but not realistically possible. I'd probly go along with how S00perMAGE put it - people just 'glorifying' their own embarrassment of being scammed in a "drop game" etc.

I think thats it's possible only if you put the item(s) in trade first, I don't think they can possibly force you to put your items in the trade.

It's called packet editing kids, people use it to do various things. Duplicate items, trade hack.. etc. Remember the guild hack back a while ago? Packet editing. It's illegal and procecutable under US, Canadian and British law. And many others I expect.
