nexon announced that before, but they never done much. If they cared before, we would have less hackers and less problems, WHY DO THEY CARE NOW? Obviously they don't, they just say that so they can retain their "Remaining" customers. And to keep what ever revenue they have left. MapleStory have been going for over 3 Years, Over those 3 years they always given us Horrible customer service, Horrible Gm patrol, and never paid attention to the economy. Note: I been playing since Windia Started, Which is when Ludi came out The fact remains: 1) More and More people are quitting maplestory. Evidence: Meso prices (from farming sites) and economy is going down by landslide. With less people = less profits for Nexon. 2) Hackers are EVERYWHERE Evidence: Look at Ilbi prices, they have dropped by a landslide due to WolfSpider Hackers.

umm actually i believe they just hired a new guy into some high up position in customer service or something of the sort... and somethings finally being done... but yeah i saw something somewhere about some new guy getting hired.

The GM patrol wasn't horrible. Remember the blue letters and the massive ban lists? They just prefer patching over over banning, which in my opinion makes sense (even though we can't see the results). Customer service has improved too, because the last time I sent in a ticket GMCrash actually replied back. Before that they never did.

If we keep this up they will take about 200 nx off each item or something. If they wanted us to join/keep us wouldnt they have an event like: For every 1k nx you buy you receive 1m.(I would consider getting nx then from gift cards)

They hired a whole new staff, including a new CEO, all straight from the top ranks in Nexon Korea.

Stop picking on Nexon. If you do not like it, don't complain. Nexon has to make money some way, and if theres just doesn't happen to be the best you don't have the right to criticize. And BTW AMERICA FAILS, not Nexon. =P

Well i actually believe that they are banning more people because i've actually seen less hackers in the well-known hacker spots and i've heard heaps of hackers talking about"how they have been perma banned by GMs even like at 3am US time which used to be prime time for them" (notice the quotes)

Because tremendous amounts of people are quiting Maplestory for other games such as WoW and EverQuest. Not to mention there are tons of free games now available such as Trickster, DragonFable, ShadowTale, etc ... Nexon is doing their best to keep their head above water now that people finally got sick of the game or the conduct of other players. And meso farmers aren't selling that well anymore b/c inflation has gone through the roof. Remember back in Dec of 2006 when 10M mesos was like only $20? Now it's like 100M is only $10.

You new people don't understand how bad maplestory was right after beta... Hackers had meso hacks and everyone had at least 5m... Don't complain about nexon not doing anything.
