Did I get traded a hacked pokemon?

I haven't tried out the wifi trading on my Pokemon Platinum until right today. I wanted a Golem, so I put up a Machoke asking for a Graveler. An hour or two later I got a level 54 Graveler, which turned into a Golem on the spot. While looking at its stats, I noticed that it was caught with a masterball. Well, I'm assuming it was a masterball, as it's a purple ball with an M on it. The rest of the stats are normal, or what I would think are normal for its level, and it doesn't have any odd moves or anything. Was it hacked, or did someone just waste a masterball on a Graveler?

Sounds like it was hacked or someone used hacks to get masterballs.

It mostly hacked, who would use a masterball on one? I would say he hacked masterballs but not the golem in general.

Yeah it doesn't really matter that he was caught with a master ball it it's got totally normal stats and stuff.

99.9999999999999999999999999999999999% I bet it is hacked I know how because well it's kinda obvious and 2nd you do not know how many pokemon i have gotten hacked through gts.....(got a hacked shiny electivire,bedrill and yadayadayada) And for people wondering why he's worried is probably because...when people see that a golem comes out of a master ball then really that person is probably d/c you and never battle you because you have a hacked pokemon...so then you can't really battle anyone unless you get a golem that's 100% legit
