STR-Less Bowmen

On the way to Orbis,I meet up with a fellow Crossbowman and she tells me that STR-Less Bowmen are better than normal/Low STR. I tell her they began to do lower damage at 100+,then she says they shine again at 140. Is this true?

Why the hell would they shine at lvl 140 again? That's the biggest bull ever, there are no new bows without str requirements, so that person you were talking to was just talking trash.

Like everyone said, depends on funding. But if you arent that funded go reg str since they become better than strless at 100+. Edit: Dont listen to her >.> but go whatever you want.

This a false accusation.. Str-less bowmen are only stronger 60-8X maybe.. [Depending on equips] Right now I'm a Lvl 87 Str-less Ranger with decent equips and my damage is matched by low-str. I guess I can't really get back to you until I get my Zhelm and then I'll tell you how they really are. If your looking for high numbers and a hella damage don't even bother going with Str-less because your wasting your time. I made my Str-less because I wanted to try something nice and so far it's been pretty fun =]

It only depends on funding when the Strless Bowman upgrades (a lot) at 140. That's the only reason why a Strless Bowman would suddenly shine again at 140.

It doesn't depend on funding at all. If you're gonna perfectly scroll a Kandiva/Nishada you could just as well perfectly scroll a Shiner/Timeless (when they exist)...Go low STR and be super awesome ^_^ and I wouldn't count on anymore Maple weapons...

Just start STRless. STRless can easily convert to Reg- or Low-STR, but it doesn't work the other way around. Switch builds around 80 or 90.

Just start lowSTR. i want to see a maple xbow as good as my old rower (88/2). and you don't have to look like DEXless sins, using only 3 weapons till lvl 100, while not looking like your dmg gets stronger then weaker. you just keep on climbing, as you can change weapons every 5-10 lvls
