Fastest lvling with least funding?

Well, I've had my Ranger for a while now and I wanted to try out another job. I was thinking of training my lv.10 mage to at least lv.50, but I'm not quitting my Ranger and I want most of my funds to go towards it. So, my question is: which mage job levels the fastest with the least amount of funding?

clerics are the best if you want to spend little money and still level pretty fast. After about lvl 55 you barely use any pots (no hp, and a little mp). Also, since a cleric mainly heals things to death until 3rd job, going regular luk isnt that big of a difference than f/p's or i/l's.

cleric is the fastest, and the most boring. i/l are the second fastest, and more fun because you not only get a strong mob att, you also get a high dmg ice attack f/p are hella slow cuz they can't mob, but they hit the highest of all 2nd job mages

Cleric fr sure ! at 2nd job u can train WITHOUT pots ! XD MP eater makes ur MP go up without using a pot + u hve heal = no HP pot XD cleric is cheapest... but ice is most fun =)

Fastest leveling 50 or beyond that? It would not be a Cleric to 50. edit: and the only time they train faster then both of them is when they go to Himes.

Clerics have a decent leveling speed, but doesn't require that much money to start one off. While if you went F/p, they do level like crazy, but the pot burn is amazingly expensive. I/L's are near the middle. :o

well,until 50,WITH possibility of continuing afterward s (when bored with ranger again),go i/l. if gonna pass 50 For SURE,go priest. if just until 50,and a "small" fundining for pots,go Fire/Poison. if u dont,go again,i/l. (personally,i/l is cool,and,if you want,you can put 1 into spear at 3rd job,for fun:D) i"m working on my i/l right now,and its fun.(though i"m not the strongest of any other classes)
