| It all started like this: ~ She was like, "Your fingers are so pretty! I wish I had those fingers!" Then I was like, "Why?" Then she was like, "Cause they're so girly! I love em!" Then she grabbed my hands. She spaced them apart, and said "Your hands are so cold! I'll warm 'em up for you. She put my hands on her chest then rubbed her cheeks with my fingers. The "top" area of her fingers, not the inside. Then, we started walking around. She told me stuff, then I told her stuff. We stopped at my locker, and we leaned on it sitting down. We talked a bit more, then we walked downstairs towards the gymnasium. I am not a sporty guy, but she likes going there to meet her girlfriends. So, I "went with the flow". As we were walking down, she was on the opposite side of the railway. I was ahead of her, and slowly slowed down until I stopped moving. She caught up, and I began moving. When we arrived there, her friends weren't there, so we sat together. It was nice. Then we went to the library. She wrapped her arm around mine when my hand was in my pocket. We walked in there, and everybody looked at us. We looked like we were.. together . We sat down, and she began to read a book in her purse. Of Mice and Men , by John Steinbeck. She had one hand holding the book, and one hand on the table. I slowly put my hand on the table, and reached for her hand. Our fingers touched at first. She lowered her book, and gazed at me. I knew that I had this one chance to grab her hand, this one chance . If I didn't, it would be all over. Our relationship, done. Instead.. I slowly put my palm over her hand, and kept it there. She looked at me, and we knew . I stood up, and walked to her side of the table. We sat on the same end. I put my arm around her back, holding her. (I didn't want to put my arm over her neck because that's so old) I love her. |
