Hi guys! Okay, so me and my friend were debating about the difference between Avenger and Band of Thieves. I told him that I believe BoT is a better mob control skill compared to Avenger; of course, he thinks opposite as I do. So we decided we'll let you guys decide! Question: What skill do you think is better mobbing control at himes during solo training? Please give details and explain. <3

Unless someone has actually tested this, you're just going to get biased answers...

it's Bot, bot acts all around you(after the first initial hit), while Avenger only infront of you also, bot is faster and ditches out more DPS this way

For sure it's BOT chief bandits are way better mobbers then NL's, and NL's are way better on single targets then CB's. >.>

It really depends of the scenario, but avenger is better at himes.

The Himes map is flat, and Himes move in a linear fashion and have very low KB. IMO this gives Hermits an edge because it's much easier to control the Himes with Avenger in this situation. Unlike CBs which take a lot of M. Atk damage, a Hermit can spam Avenger and pin down a small mob with ease, using very little, if any HP pots [Easy mob handling = easy Draining (Lazy Avenger method ftw)]. But you put them both at Typhons, CBs have it easier, since BoT being AoE makes it easier to gather up the big, flying monsters on a map that's not so flat. xD |

Bot is 210% at a speed of 100 Atk's/Min. Avenger with SP (which you would use if you were at Himes) has an avarage % of 180% x 1.5(SP) x 1.5(Avg Crit) = 405% at a speed of 92 Atk's/Min so in comparison redusing it to 405% x 92/100 = 372.6%. In terms of % avenger takes the cake. Now the only argument left is the damage range of bandit is higher than a sins but still it would have to be 192% higher to make up the diffrence.
