That is because they are already moving and when you freeze them, they continue in the same direction for a second before stopping. With ice strike that is.

It does that all the time. It's like freeze lag or something? It's been around.

Well, it does makes sense.... freezed monster = slippery movement moving mosnter + freeze = your problem Laws of motion ok, no. Jcer101993 is right, its lag.

It's called freeze lag. When you lag, that happens sometimes.

You should take advantage of it. when u freeze monsters with ice strike, the monsters will move to the direction ur facing. so when the monsters are too close to u, just face the oppsite direction.

if you cant kb the monster they will often slide toward you...i hate it when i have to protect in mpq because of that reason but then i found a way to do it afterall but sometimes i screw up they start yelling at me >.> and afterall maplestory has some logic, inertia=an object will stay in motion untill another force act on it :D

Ice strike has a funny affect om monsters, ifind if they are infront of me i knock them away, but if they are behind me it drags them to me. So if i am in the middle of a mob i have to keep turning around to avoid being hit.

Lol, same thing used to ALWAYS happen to me when I trained at Death Teddies back in the old days when I was a Sniper. Fun times.

Most i'l mages move with the mob, i.e. ice strike, move right a little, ice strike, move right a little ... |

link The way (direction) you stand effects the way they KB too, something like that o_o. X M X2 If you face <-, both monsters go <-, thus making X2 go closer to you. If you face ->, both monsters go ->, thus making X go closer to you.
