Aran DMG Check

I wanted to see how my aran is doing. It has 65 base dex (i know its too much) a 16 str zhelm and a 77 att 1 str ND with 5 slots im going to 100% scroll it later. Damage range is sort of low, at about 480-1135. Im preparing to buy a lot of %str equips after i fund myself a bit more. Here's a list of my equips: 16 str clean zhelm 77 att 1 str Nine Dragons (soon to be 82 att) 2% str shoes Lv 50 dex bottom Lv 50 Str top av. cpq1 necklace 10 att wgs and 55m funding (i know its low) So how am I doing? And what do you thing i should do? I'm not getting FS, maybe PAC and %str cape. And remember. I play for the joy of the aran class, and I'm not a dmg freak.

That's not too bad. I understand your dex is high because you don't have much funding. You only go really low-dex or even dexless if you have alot of funding. I think you are doing quite well.

I wouldn't worry about your equips untill you're third job, find a good karstan (Not only they give accuracy but their speed is normal which is beast). Also you'll need to find yourself some str top / dex bottom After you're level 80 consider a huge revamp starting by a good str% earring

i wish i had a 65 base dex too i kept auto assigning and now my aran has 91 dex base but its still fun i dont even have a zhelm on it so ye ur aran is good

I'd rate you a 4.5/10 for your level. Once you get the 82 Att weapon you'll probably be a 5/10. I find damage is more important when you seriously boss at Lv140+, before that I think level is more important (even if u have a lower range than someone, if you are higher lvl you have more skill points and will do more DPM). I have a Lv121 Aran friend w/ a higher range than me but he has like 3 OS while I have 30, and I have 27 HM. I noticed at 0 combo I was about 1.5x as strong as he was. Just focus on leveling and don't waste too much time getting equips (just enough time to stay average like a 5/10). This is mostly my opinion of course.

[/quote] what's IDAF? and this man is right, it doesn't matter if youre damage may or may not be lower than others, as long as youre having fun playing. but get a potential-ed dep star if you can, if not, then just get a clean one :]

its not good to get %equips when you're still low level. . . (e.i.. you have 209str x 0.02(which is 2% str) = 4.18... so only +4str will be added when you have %equips at low lvl). . .

At lv 60 I'll use a Blood Snowboard which is normal att speed. at 64 I'll switch try to a good karstan, 100+ att. I prabably can get nx to merch 10 att wgs off mts. Anyways, ty for all your tips, I really appreciate it!

ok weird situation with % str on my aran. I had, like, 443ish str right? And about 6% str together. If i add another 2% str equip on that'll give me 8 str. So now I'll have 451 str. But at every multiple of 50 i get an extra 1 str from 2% str. So after i put on the equip and i get 451 will my % str equips adapt and give me 3 extra str? O_O thanks....

[/quote] I'd assume it just averages it out. I don't think it's like, 1 equip gives 8str and another gives 8 str and at 1 point they'll start giving 9 str. It's probably just your total %str gives you say 36.8 dmg and they round it, the next level that may be 37.5 dmg it adds idk. I don't really get what you're saying but I hope this helped.
