Edit 5: Using skills on bell flower roots which are lvl 91, and at 4.5k mp, if i get mp eater 3 times, my mp is fully restored to 7k. So MAX mp eater no matter what, it is good, I barely use any mp pots, because they have increased the mp per monster. Also, they have changed the max lvl for alot fo skills from 30 to 20, so people you probably will have enough skill points to max everything you want, and leave the one useless skill alone. Also, for mages, if you are training, the amount of times you get hit by a monster reflects how skilled you are with your mage. Skilled mages will not be able to get hit as they have tele mastery stun. Edit 6: Damage (clean armor, clean arc staff) Thunder Spear - Lvl 20, ele amp max. Ice strike - ele amp max, lvl 90 monster, lvl 11 ice strike, ice weak monster Tele mastery - Lvl 1 tele mastery http://img89.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=maple0020k.jpg Edit 7: I've been training on straw target dummies to see the exp rate, they are lvl 82, and they give 6xx exp dont remember. Using a lvl 45 staff un scrolled, I got about 50% in one hour, no 2x. Edit 8: At the character creation screen, there is an option to create a resistance character, however it is grey, so I though maybe resistance wont come with this patch. But today a transistor (mechanic weapon) dropped. So lets speculate. EDIT 9: I am now lvl 120 on my i/l mage (3rd job still), and I have equipped just the reverse wand, since I know for a fact my wand is stronger than the reverse wand. I currently do 13k with tele mastery, 7k x 5 with thunder spear, 21k with ele comp, 18k with cold beam, 20k with ice strike; on regular monsters. THere is no need for bliz for those of QQing about the cooldown, just as I anticipated the trade up is much better. For those who think thunder spear sux, think again, it is actually very beast, its speed is the same but, if used with tele mastery it becomes better than ele comp. WHy? because the timing of thunder spear goes perfectly with the timing of teleporting, the other faster skills do not, so it takes longer after you teleport to use them, and they are weaker too. I went to mulung dojo, and tested out the skills, for those who want to know, on regular maple it takes my bm about 1 min and 30 to kill pap pixie (lvl 121), with the mage, it took me about 20 seconds. SO yes mages are good bossers now.

That's awesome that there is no dc problem with windows 7. I always dc when trying to boss, and it happens occasionally when I cc. Thanks for the info.

how is it from lv 50-70? Majority of my characters are within this range. Did you do much grinding during those levels? Was it significantly faster to level?

Well to level I talk to an npc to instantly level but the training is not only fast on lower level monsters ( if you're lvp 50 and the monsters are lvl 30) but also the spawn is great. Example at lvl 61 I was training on drakes (lvl 50) and it was like I was lvl 40 reg training. Also even if the training gets too slow it is so fun you probably wont notice. They have also put in Lot of mini dungeous so there are a lot of training spots available for all levels. I'll update after I'd o my exam which will be in the next3 hours. Edit: this is from my iPod and by 3 hours I mean that's the bext time I'll pos because I have to go in the game before I actually update. See you all in 2 or three hours.

[/quote] Working on it, some of the keys on the thing are in korean, so I can't read, still looking for it. As of right now there is no family tab key, so I cannot tell whether or not there is 1.2x or 2x in the exp tab of the family thing. |
