| After spending almost a full day in the FM trying to buy an 11 att SCG, I've compiled a list of "how-to"s of trolling people in the FM, based on my personal experiences. Obscurity Being vague - Spam "Buy / Sell @ @ @" but don't specify what you are selling. If people trade you, cancel on them after 4 seconds. - Make it unclear what you are selling or buying "B> Golav" "S> Bloog" Physical obscurity - Spam walls of meaningless "@" over people who are actually trying to make a serious trade - Spam ridiculous things, EG: "S> Leaf 1m each or offer" over people who are trying to make a serious trade - Put on as many avatar obscuring items as you can, and block a person who is attempting to make a serious trade so that people can't access them - Spam a person trade requests so that people can't properly access them Incoherency Details of the trade - Get the minor details wrong, for example if someone asks for an "dark crystal", put up a "black crystal" and insist that it's the same thing - Get the major details wrong, for example if someone asks for an "onyx apple", put up a "talking witch hat", and insist that it's the same thing - If a person is buying an item, ask them to "show" - If a person is selling an item, put up the item they are selling and tell them to "offer" - Trade them, and say "oops, wrong person", cancel, then trade them again 5 minutes later and say "oops, wrong person again" Language barrier - "U ISRAELI? I FROM JERUSALAM" - "Gum chao ma! Chingy chongy ching chong china man" - "Porque es la chocho puta! jajajajajajajaja" Annoying behaviour - Make idiotic offers; if you are selling an item, insist that they pay 6 times what it is worth, if you are buying, insist that they sell it for 1/6th of it's value - Make really idiotic offers; "1 peso" - Act as if you're going to buy/sell the item they want you to buy from/sell to them, then ask them for a P/C on some worthless junk - Change your mind on a deal last second - Go to dinner and leave them in the trade room with your afk character - Trade them asking for mesos. Alternatives include "plz meso" "pluse moses" "pl0x mozo" "plax masu" - Trade people with no actual intention of making a proper trade, and instead attempt to start a conversation with them - If a person is "buying fame", defame them, and then tell them that they didn't specify if they wanted positive or negative fame - Get on a level 11 rogue character, and claim that you have the ability to "duplicate your items / mesos" - Trade someone asking if they're selling their account - If a person is spamming "selling 50% scrolls, WILL NOT GO ANY LOWER THAN 30M", trade them offering 25m. |
