Maple Storyfor the DS

SO I've decided to play it while waiting for the SC to end. So far i made a warrior. I have no idea what to expect. anyway, its maplestory related, anyone ever play it?

My nephew has it but after he goes through the name and character set-up it puts him back at the title screen

It has a story, so not maplestory related. But, you fight zakum and (apparently) have to go to the pause menu to use potions, etc. I heard its actually a enjoyable game if you take it as a seperate, completely different game than maplestory. The one that is similar to maplestory is the iphone one (I think).

I played it months ago.. I started with Thief, all you need to do is just follow the story :3

I saw the gameplay and was turned off. It seems tongue and cheek enjoyable, but a very watered down MS.

hmm. all the dialouge is in korean. anyone know where i can get a decent english patch?

[/quote] Patching a game is harddd, I tried to patch my Pokemon Black last night and failed. Google rudolph patcher if you wanna try thouugh. But hey you still haven't answered me where you got your rom >:l

Oh man, I remember when that game was being developed. People thought you would be able to "download" your in game character onto the DS and grind it in a sort of offline mode or something, and then transfer it back into the game later. Sort of like those pokemon heart gold/soul silver step-counters. Download the character from the game, train it from outside the game, and upload the character back into the game when you're done. I can't even imagine how many they would have sold if that had been the case.
