What if GMS suddenly shuts down?

Some people say Nexon will win, some people say hackers will win. I don't care who you think will win that "war". I don't even care if there's a "war". Let's put the hypothetical case the game dies forever... because of one or another random reason. I would give up gaming and spend more time in other things like guitar or studies. What do you do? What will you do? What would you do? Please don't answer saying "There is war" or "There is no war", I just wanna know what would you do if game closes

It's not the only Maplestory, there are other Maples, and I will just continue playing Pokemon games and going on forums like I usually do.

Well basilmarket would slowly start to not excist. Nexon would still be alive, just maplestory would be closed. I would quit, and not play anymore Mmorpgs.

Maybe maple will shut down for 8 months while nexon says they're fixing hacks/etc, then one day suddenly say 'Maplestory is no longer available. Sorry.' If that sounded a bit too specific, then it was, and yes, I'm actually referring to something that actually happened with another game (Today, coincidentally)

If maplestory shut down then it would probably actually be beneficial for me. I would try harder to study for my classes, do scholarships, being productive. I suggest others do the same before they get too addicted to the game. Preparation for life > preparation for games.
