My mom told me that I couldn't buy COD black ops. But because all my friends had it I was a dumbass and went and bought it. My mom was wondering if I had bought the game. I told her I borrowed it from a friend because I really didn't want her to take the game away from me (again stupidity right there). She asked my brother which knew nothing. My brother hates me so he said that I bought it (which ironically is true). So she took away my xbox and said I could never have it back. When I realised that I had made a mistake it was already too late. I wish to earn her trust and my console. I went through 10 months without video games and it was boring and I spent Christmas siting with a bunch of games I couldn't play. I certainly wish it wouldn't happen to me again. I wish there is something that I could say or do that can at least make her not as mad anymore if not getting my console back at an earlier time. Thanks in advance.

You went against what she said, you lied to her, and NOW you try to ask for her forgiveness. Just tell her that you're going to try to work harder and try to prove to her that you deserve the console, if you really DO deserve it.

So I take it this has happened before..My mom threatens me with taking my DS away but I have been doing all my homework now and raising my grades so she wont take it away and buy me a black Wii with GoldenEye on Black Friday as a reward. I have brought my English grade from 45 to 90

Correct me if I'm wrong, I heard it's legal to own ROMS to games if you own the GAME ITSELF & the console it runs on. So incase you need your xbox fix, this is a path you could take. :D
