Help with SE gloves

So I might be mass cubing some reverse bergamots during black friday. First I have to make them. I have 3 questions. 1) How many mesos will it cost to make it, excluding GFAs 2) I know it's all luck, but if you have it can you please tell me how many cubes it took to get SE 3) Will it be more beneficial to my 120 aran than a 9%str giles cape? I will only have enough nx to cube one of them, I think. Thanks!

If you dont have many cubes, go with the cape. SE gloves takes a LOT of cubes to get. SE gloves are far more benficial though. You should 1. make glove 2. pot and reveal 3. scorll with GFA if 3 lined, if 2 lined sell and repeat 4. cube if 8atk+ U/H, if not sell and repeat 5. congrats

i have SE and it's definitely worth it. what demonicFruit said was great advice for making them. 1) you'll pay for 15 PoT for each glove u make. currently they go for about 4mil each. you'll make or pay for an advanced power crystal for str, adv garnet for acc and add a glove stimulator. keep making the glove till u get 3 lines. sell or toss the rest - u wont sell for what u made them for but ull get some back. use the legendary spirit skill so u dont have to wear an item to scroll it. if i were remaking gloves i'd probably use 2 30%s and white scrolls (or vega 30%) for +2. then vega and finish it with 90%s. all b4 i cube for SE. i'd keep 3 line 14+watk gloves and cube them for SE. 2) figure 1-100 cubes to make them. 3) SE beats 9%str. with 9%str i currently get an extra +450-900 dmg range vs +4800-9600 more range for EACH OS hit with SE (MW20, 12atk pots, 100combos.)

I don't mean to steal your thread but I was cubing my bergamutes and I got 6% str, +12 str. It's taken me about 4X cubes to get it to that, still epic. Is it worth it to cube to SE? It's 10 atk u/h 3 lines.

[/quote] problem 1) lvl 120+ gloves can only get sharp eyes problem 2) cubes have a 0% boom rate, and a 100% sucess rate. the only thing that can make it go boom is the 90/70% potential scroll

POT (15)-50m Total Maybe 50m+ total. Buy 1 cube at a time. You'll never know when they work. ;D Get 8atk at least, but potential first, this way you don't lose money if they're 10att

Having higher attack on a glove is always nice, but it takes second seat behind getting SE. Even if your gloves end up being failsauce attack, you should still make the utmost effort to get SE on them. My Bergamot has only 3 attack (CURSE YOU CHAOS SCROLLS), but I'm happy with it. Too bad SE doesn't remain usable after unequipping the glove, like HB from pants. By the way, my gloves too 107-110 cubes. Not entirely sure, but that's accurate enough. I have a cruel ring and an 8% crit polearm (crit% on weapons is amazingly effective on innate crit classes such as ourselves, after all). With SE, my critical chance and damage at 100 combos are 83% and 245% respectively. With level 20 Overswing, I shouldn't be able to break 50k on a Chief Oblivion, but I do it regularly--and thanks to the heavily overpowered tendency of Aran crit to skyrocket in damage, even my regular attacks (current range: x-6606) can do over 40k. Similarly, since the polearm also has 30% boss damage, I do well over 200k per tripleswing set (without Final Blow, mind you) on Kacchuu Musha. With level 30 Overswing, that number will rise to 300k. And then there's Final Blow...Man, I'm getting chills. Someone at level 131 shouldn't do that much damage. Always, ALWAYS, favor SE gloves. By the way, it stacks with Thorns, unlike the BM/MM version, so my crit chance goes up to 98% when I have a DB buddy with me. Essential for boss fights and such.

3 cubes to get Epic, 6 more for Unique, then about 15 more cubes after that to get SE. And before anyone asks, this was on my AM, not my Sniper.

SE gloves sounds hard... That makes me want to just potential my cape/earring first before doing it on my bergamot/scarhat.. Is it still worth it to cube a 2 lines bergamot? all i need is either str or SE though
