It is thought that you have been banned for having WGs in your inventory. That information is false the reson being is that I xferd a wg to my friends account and neither accounts were banned. The Reason why you were banned is the meso hackers. These hackers generated mesos via hacking websites i have no idea which ones, but that is why. If some one has bought your items with these fake mesos then they were mixed with your original mesos. Nexon then traced the fake mesos which were mixed with your mesos which would then be causing you to be banned for possesion of the mesos. The only thing you can do is most likely submit a ticket stating what had happend and maybe they will decrease your ban time. I am only aware of this information from talking to people who warned me to use all the mesos that i had got from the last nite. When i said all i mean i had 0 mesos. I beleive i wasnt banned and i feel your grief for being banned i am just informing you why this has happend. I beleive it is mostly nexons fault for having a horrible hack shield, after nexon would be the hackers for hacking.

Guys I don't think people got banned, and if they did they got unbanned.. My main shows me -1 and my mule -350 rankings at the Nexon site, meaning that people either just outlvl'd my 173 Hero, or Nexon unbanned someone.

yeah this is fake after the rb i bought an insane amount of 10 attack wgs in mts and sold them in bera for 170m each then i got dcd and im still here. so either this is fake or i got lucky and found some legit buyers...

Nexon wouldn't ban people with attack wg's anyway because it has got nothing to do with the exploit its self.

well im sure it was the main way meso exploiters got around the rb because i talked to a few people who did it and they bought 10 attack wgs which were then sold in mts for like 4-5k each and after the recent rb they were able to keep the nx. So it wouldnt be totally crazy to think nexon would look into work gloves since it was one of the main ways people were able to profit from the sc.

And keeping in mind that a HUGE majority of Maple players have ATT WGs, banning them all causes a massive decline in their popularity and lose alot of money since not many people will wanna buy NX anymore.

Well i wrote this(below) on another thread then all of a sudden it was locked to i wanted so post it somewhere and this thread seemed appopriate I believe that the banning of people with WG's is somewhat true, but not as simple as u have a wg, u get banned. I think that the people are getting banned are people who have MTS'ed or Traded WG's between 8th or 9th-10th of Nov. It also may be that the banns are targetted at mostly 8-12ish atk WG's because their the ones the hackers were focused on the most. The reason i think the bann's are happening is because the hackers were using these WG's to make real life money and these WG's prices were greatly affected by the meso exploit. Nexon is basically trying to stop any long term damage to the Maplestory economy to my understanding so basically i think everyone should just wait a few days and everything in maple should be ok. I guess my hypothesis fits well with the threadstarter's but i guess MTSing doesnt have anything to do with it and its all about the fake mesos, but still Nexon is just trying to prevent long term damage. Also it must not be just WG's its anyone who had fake mesos from any sales its just most sales were WG's. Sarahx001 I believe, from the rare chances that you just did get lucky and there were no fake mesos in the amount you got.
