Hunter now or Wild Hunter later?

I was wondering if I should create a hunter now, or just wait for the wild hunters to come out. Im looking for a bow class that can easily level, one that is mobile, that can efficiently kill mobs, and at the same time, can kill bosses. So which should it be, and why?

all Archer jobs basically almost cover what you said, each just have their specialty on certain situations

With respect you have basically asked for something that has the best of all worlds and is just unrealistic. While the archer class is highly diverse we have major flaws and cannot do everything to the standard you seem to be implying in your thread post. Choices like this require compromise, thus there is no easy answer. On Topic, Wildhunters will be fun but Hunters will become cheap. BM and MM will probably outlive WHs in the long run (I suspect). On balance, I'd say make a WH and spend the time between now and Big Bang (or BB part 2 in the case of a WH) earning some funds and preparing your WH with nice equips. Alternatively, just keep truckin along with whatever else your currently doing on MS.

yeah dude you arent good enough to make a BM. make a wild hunter when it comes out. you ask for too much... really... think before you post something like this. yeah BM's are great for bossing, but we suck at mobs. yeah we are mobile, but with low hp. we dont mob, 4th job is predominantly hurricane everywhere you go... sick of these "should i make a BM or a WH" go to the easier one and stay there. dont taint my class

everyone keeps saying WHs are better but they've never even played them, and the videos they have watched and have seen the damages i bet they've never thought about their funding and would think that they would get the sme damage, frankly i like to play adventurers for the challenge and nothing beats the original. Let me put it this way, when WH come out Archer equipment will be in high demand and thus very expensive. As of right now people are already pricing Xbow scrolls to the near 3-5 million a piece. They were originally 1-2 before the news of WH came out. When they do come out the scrolls will most likely cost about 5 million a piece (being the lowest someone will sell them for). From what I've seen lately people are selling Bow scrolls for about 1-2 million a piece. So in the end how much funding are you really willing to put into a WH? Would you rather spend a millon for a Bow Scroll or 3 million for a Xbow scroll? Btw this is from what I've seen and what I see coming when WH do come out.

[/quote] can easily level: all bowman level at roughly the same rate mobile: WH beats us here, but both BM and MM can achieve max speed/jump without haste or any kind of mount, that's mobile enough for me mob: MM. both WH and BM suck at mobs boss: BM=WH > MM. MM aren't as good at bosses, but they're still good nonetheless you're like describing all of the bowman class as a whole, not a certain sub-class. I'd say you take your pick (mobbing or bossing) and just go along with that. both BM and MM are great, very fun and powerful. [quote] preused : Bigger question: CB or DB? [/quote] CB.
