More Dex for Big Bang?

I was reading some of the threads for sins, I've been out of the loop. would anyone mind explaining why more dex is better before the "Big Bang" hits? And that being said, should I raise my dex to 100? or would it be fine to keep it at 45low?

keep it as low as you can. (more luk = more dmg, who says more dex is better? you only need dex to wear equips). accuracy dont matter anymore.

(repeats yet again to stop this DEXless/LUKless missing rumor craze >.<) the new acc formula is 1.2*DEX + LUK + Acc (1.2*LUK + INT + Acc for Mages). at Lvl 33, a DEXless or LUKless would have 169 (or 174 if Job Adv gave AP, forgot) BASE in their Main stat (DEX or LUK). this means they can already hit ALL monsters 120 and below, not factoring in Lvl. adding MORE secondary stat for acc is way overdoing it. you only raise it to equip higher Lvl equips

The reason why some people are saying that stat-less people are going to be weaker is not due to the Big Bang but due to the Potential System. A higher dex for a Thief means being able to wear your Level equips and get better potentials.
