which would you rather have? %atk or % total damage. For an example 9%atk v.s. 9% total damage

Total damage because it takes a percentage of your Max damage range.

i'd rather take %atk as it takes % of your total weapon attack, which is usually very high for a db

I'm also wondering this. I'm GUESSING % attack because isn't your damage based off of your attack?

9% total damage for sure. It's literally.... 9% of your total damage, which should be more than attack, shouldn't it?

hmmm i think both would be equal, since they're based proportionally off of each other, right?
pipegomzter : hmmm i think both would be equal, since they're based proportionally off of each other, right?
But the damage is also based on your stats and the skill u use so Total damage> attack%

UchihaShien : okay that makes sense the stats part i mean but i'm pretty sure the % total damage thing is based on your damage range, right? so the skill you use has nothing to do with it, right?
Some skills do % damage, and because a big part of ur damage range is based on stats, so total damage is better than %Attack EDIT: The att u get from weapons play some role, but a % is better in big numbers, right?

UchihaShien : all skills do percent damage -__- but since it affects from before the precent multiplier, it doesn't change anything the stats do though, but i already said that >.>

Any buff/passive ability/other ability, and snipe. I think you are right, it shouldn't do anything to skills. Though, since it's all multiplied, it wouldn't really matter. communicative property of multiplication?

%attack. I had about 3% damage before on my gun, it did about...3k extra when I 1HKO a Skele. Not every effective in my opinion.

Attack takes from your weapon's att stat, total damage takes from your damage range.
