unable to open maplestory

when i try to start the game from the website, the splash screen opens instead of maplestory. then when i try to start the game from there, i get "hackshield initialization error". i also tried just using the game launcher and nothing opens after i start from the splash screen. is anyone else getting this error?

The site is glitched? It still says offline for me. But yeah, you have to wait another 2 hours.

yeah i get the same thing! when i try to start the game from the website it says 'game offline' for some strange reason! i think my computer is broken

Why do you make a thread about this? The error gives you an option to go to the main site to check if there are any updates/sc's going on. Also, you came to basil, and just made a thread about it without thinking? There are multiple threads about it, including one one the homepage created by mr. basil.

[/quote] there was a glitch. the site shows that the game is online and doesnt show the info for the maintenance. i didn't come to basil and posted without thinking, i came because i thought i had an actual error -.-

The update said they where gonna be running by 10am this morning, its stupid, they are pushing it up to 12. I have a feeling that at 12 they will push it at 2pm. They really can't set an exact time.
