Maplestory wight in harddrive

how much gigabytes should maplestory weigh in a computer, cause somehow in my computer weighs 4,93 GB, any idea of why? is it normal? 2.- my firend tried to install maplestory, but after the downloading was complete the computer told him, fail and an error to install, to please try again downloading the game, have any idea why? thanks for your help :D

Like Victor said, the size of MS is 2.27GB. If you have more than that, you probably have a lot of SS or there are many fail patch folders in it (folders like aidn48fn.$$, which can be deleted).

Yes- open the C:/Nexon/Maplestory folder and look at the folders inside it. There should ONLY be ONE folder- hshield If there are any folders with names like "aidn48fn.$$" (like Quan said above), DELETE them because they come from FAILED attempts to install Maplestory. They are just taking up wasted space on your hard drive. Be sure to LEAVE the hshield folder, but delete any others. Also.. what your friend probably ran into is this: It only takes about 2GB AFTER Maplestory is installed. BUT- it takes about 8GB of free disk space to INSTALL Maplestory. The installation takes up a LOT of temporary disk space when it's installing the game. This space is freed up again AFTER the install is done, but you still need about 8GB of free disk space or the installation will FAIL.
