Why do people put items worth more than max mesos in stores?

sometimes I see like c/o 2.5 bil by ________. I'm wondering if someone will offer 2.5 bil why not just buy it for max in the store and save some money?

They already have mesos in their inventory, so the item can not be bought...

Did you know that max mesos means max mesos, meaning you actually can't go above it? If I already have 300mil in my inventory and you try to give me another 2.1bil, you can't. Max mesos.

theres a reason ...... means they have money in their inventory so even if they wanted they cant buy it ... you really think someone will offer more if they can buy it ? ...

*sigh* Just THINK ABOUT IT FOR A SECOND. m = mesos x = max mesos m < x Your mesos must be less than the max y = purchaseable item (in this case, worth max mesos) m + y < x your mesos and the cost of the item must be less then max mesos Now lets plug stuff in: Any amount of mesos and max mesos put together are greater than or equal to max mesos This statement does not follow the rules of the programming, therefore it can't happen. This means that you can not purchase anything that is worth max mesos because that would introduce more than max mesos into the seller's inventory. Which is impossible...
