How do I play GMS in Japan or a foreign country?

I might be in Japan for the next 3-5 years so...Is there anyways to play GMS in Japan? Oh, and if there are any programs I can use, will it get me banned? -Kthxbye Newb

Nexon of Japan has exclusive rights to Maple gameplay in Japan. If you manage to find a proxy, you might be able to get Maple Global to work, but it is conceivable (even likely) that you will be blocked. Since you're going to be there up to 5 years, why not try to learn the language? Japanese can be a useful skill in the business world depending on your industry, and since you already know Maple pretty well, the game could be a helpful stepping stool into a larger study of the written language.

OT:Your gonna be there 3-5 years, learn the language, its actually a lot easier than you may think, a lot of the words are english words, the hardest part is probably kanji in writing.

i think you'll most likely get banned. i tried playing in taiwan at a friend's house and that was three years ago before they set the ip stuff up. this year i went back and tried to play, but they blocked me from the website... meaning you can't even download the game
