Is listening to music/songs while eating unhealthy? Does it cause human harm? Also, off topic, does charging iphone when it is totally drained from battery better than recharging it constantly even though there is half of it's battery life remaining?

Maybe if it distracts you so much that you don't stop eating. o_o I think it's better to recharge it constantly.

Um is that all? Also, is there statistics on answers to both of the questions? EDIT: Can you tell me why?

It's better recharge batteries when there near dead, after tons of charges if you charged it like 100 times and 20% life, your battery will only have 75%-90% of it's original life. And as for eating while listening to music, unless you listen so much that you starve yourself, then yes, it is unhealthy.

How would listening to music while eating for 20 minutes be any different than spending 10 minutes eating and spending 10 minutes listening to music? And I remember going to the Apple store and they said it's best to drain the battery before charging, in order to preserve it, but that was for a macbook :/

I've read from the Apple site that it doesn't matter whether you first drain the battery or if you charge it up while it's not completely drained. Plus the iPod charges everytime you connect it to iTunes, so...

No because they put music in some restaurants (eg. piano, classical, radio stuff). I'm pretty sure that you have been to those restaurants before. But turning TV on and watching it while eating can be harmful.

1. I don't know why you would in the first place, though if you wanted to I guess it wouldn't be too bad for you. 2. I believe batteries have a number of full charges (like 500 or something big like that) that they can undergo before they start to seriously lose power. Not sure tho.

Probably, cause your not concentrating on what your doing and the brains attention to the stomach is diverted so the stomach can't do its job properly and so its unhealthy.

Listening to music while eating is ok, but only if you're not wearing headphones. Also, the battery's life should be under 50%, otherwise it would be harmful after all. What kinda questions are these anyways?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with listening to music while eating. Your brain is receiving sounds from the ear; no matter where you are, you'd hear some form of sound. Rock, Hip Hop, Rap, Dance pop, and pop music often causes a higher brainwave frequency and activity that results in what you may call a "more active mind." Nothing more, it won't affect your eating. As for listening with headphones on, if you can easily conceal your headphones it won't be a social related problem, but it's quite rude to have headphones in your ears while eating with others. If the music is loud it would be harmful to your ears either way. And actually, eating slower is good for your digestion, so spending 20 minutes eating is healthier than spending 10 minutes eating and 10 minutes listening to music.
