Big Bang in a few short weeks?

Nexon dev blog: Our office this week is a flurry of activity. We�ve just gotten a working version of Global MapleStory Big Bang now and have begun putting it through its paces. We�re testing for bugs and making tweaks to the balance and content. More than that though, there�s a genuine sense of excitement as we finally get a chance to experience what you will in just a few short weeks . The new feel of the game is just amazing and the team here is almost totally focused on the future, as I know many of you are! As for me, I�m as excited as anyone, but while thinking about this week�s blog, I decided I wanted to talk about all the changes we�ve seen in the past five years. Take a walk with me down memory lane. no this is probably old, just wanted to share it :D

i only play for 3 years so the memory of first 2 years does not exist for me. I remember back then there is only 4 jobs. Later CK and aran came out. Follow by Evan and Dual Blade. Henesy Hunting ground1 use to have green mushroom.

Unfortunately, "few" is ambiguous; it could mean any number (thankfully often a small number). Then we have to understand that short weeks do not exist (with the sole exception of daylight savings time in spring, and only in areas that participate). Aside from that, nexon said the BB will be out in winter (somewhat ambiguous when use in advertisement, but mostlikely in dec till the end of febuary), and then the only definitive statement made was that we will have the BB before the end of the year. So based on the information provided, and assuming no delays occur, the BB should be out before Jan. 1st, 2011.

Personally, I think that Big Bang will come in early-mid december. It's definitely going to be after the Thanksgiving event, as Tespia isn't out yet, and JMS and CMS are scheduled to get it before GMS. I'd say that as JMS is getting it on the 24th of November, CMS maybe around the 24th-early December, then GMS would get it just about right after CMS, which would be the first 1-2 weeks of December. (I'd say more likely the 2nd week of December. [5-11th]) This gives time for the Thanksgiving event, time for Tespians to... test... and would be a nice cushion of time for players to adjust for the Holiday/Christmas patch. My biggest memory is training from 31-34 at Wild Boars, and panicking whenever a Jr. Boogie showed up.

I almost forgot to mention the irony of them saying "few short weeks." This week will be the longest week in the year, thanks to daylight savings time.
