I would post a picture of it, but because of my lack of +10 feedback I can't. This kid Korennnnn is trying to cause mass inflation. Everyone is buying 10 att WGs for about 100-110mil. But this kid, no. He's buying them for 200mil. WHY? WHY MUST IDIOTS DO THIS? He's also in the ZakPolice. Anybody in a guild with the word "police" in it has a reputation for making MapleStory a worse game to play...

I wish I could get all the old basil articles from months and months ago saying all this inflation stuff. It would put it into perspective how the maple economy has sucked for a long time (at least according to the documented accounts).

Oh please... there was a guy in my alliance (who has quit) who revealled that he was trying to cause apple inflation in Bera by buying up all the Onyx Apples he could find, then re-sell for 1m. It didn't work in the long run (most of the inflation ended up being caused by APQ glitches). Ironicly, he bought an E-Staff from one of my friends thinking he could re-sell it, but never was able to XD

What you are describing and what this merchant is doing is not "inflation". Inflation is a term used to describe the event in which a monetary system has a surplus money supply that is large enough to cause the value of the correspondent currency to decrease in value, which means that ALL items will require more currency to buy and more currency to sell. Maplestory has not been inflated since the Meso Exploit a while ago. What that merchant is doing is something called "bending the stocks", or item-r8ping. He buys them at a higher price than they are worth, and drives the demand up for these work gloves. The demand grows even higher when he obtains a huge number of them. After buying so many, he sells them to the desperate for mass amounts of profit. That is pure business and in no way illegal. With money comes power, and that is no different for this game, which utilizes hidden stock and a open market.

Nothing wrong with a little currency change, since Maplers could never starve and whatnot...

No, no meso exploit, it's because of the vegas scrolls that came out, if he buys it now, makes 14att's it'll cost more. I sold 12 10att's for 180m each yesterday, i sold 11 in like, 7-8 hours :]
