Why im NOT looking forward to Big Bang

Flame me, say whatever you want to me, i dont really care. Big Bang as you all know, brings an experience curve along with it. This new curve makes it seem like you are on 2x or higher all the time. it will make way for the nooby noobs that usually stay at level 40-60 to be able to move up a lot easier. this means we will be getting a ton of fourth jobbers, that really dont belong. they will just be "OMG IM PRO I NEED TO GO TO ZAKUM NAO!@!@@!" i mean seriously, the people that actually make it to 120+ in the current times, gave effort (more or less) to get there, and they know what they are doing. Also, 4th jobbers and 4th jobbers to be will be practically nothing now due to the super increase in nooby higher levels. 4th job wont be anywhere near a maple accomplishment anymore. im in my 11x on my main and it feels good to have worked for it. now its going to be like nothing. DISCUSS

Memories and experience are never replaceable, so it shouldn't "be like nothing" unless you just made it a chore. I have a level 148 Paladin, but do I care if people out level me in 2 days? thats not what i meant. i enjoy my char, but its not going to feel as good if i put all the effort in to just let it be destroyed within 2 days because of exp curves.

Hey, if you can get to 110 now, you'll be able to get to 150 when all the 6xs are getting to 110. Zakum is a boss for noobs. You'll be able to move onto better things.

the reduced exp just makes it funner, if you couldnt get past lev 80 now, you probably wont get past lev 90-100 post BB, it reall seems that nexon is trying to make it so that you can quickly play a character to say lev 150, then switch onto something diffrent if 4th job will seems like nothing, then i hope that they will eventually come out with 5th job, the "high level" will simply be bumped up 20-30 levels after BB

we will not be getting 5th job i know that. and nexon is doing it for the money, not for us to have fun. but this isnt about nexon its about noobs being high levels.

You guys do realize at 110+ there isn't much of a exp reduction, it's like 5% lower or less as you go up.

[/quote] It's about more players being able to experience more of the game content instead of just the pretentious pr**ks like you thinking they are better than everyone for being a higher level.

if they reduce the exp requirements it might make it possible to get farther than level 200 and possible 5th job. i know nexon said they will not be making a 5th job but if enough "customers" ask for it they will probably make it and make some way for them to make money off of 5th job like requiring NX for all skills and/or to be able to advance to 5th job. OT: big bang patch is going to be awesome because no more noobs asking me for leech. gotta get your own levels now stupid noobs.

[/quote] I don't know about you, but I'd rather have more stuff to do at high levels than see a 5th job any time soon. This game is way too focused on grinding right now and Big Bang helps make this game more content-based. I'm totally okay with making it easy to reach high levels. It just means less effort for me to try new classes, and to get my current characters to 200. Just waiting on Nexon to make more high content now.

All nexon has to do is make Level cap 300, and after 200 make the EXP really hard to get to, and make a 5 and sixth job, but you can only level up and get skills with NX. I tryed to write nexons sig of NX getting, but it said thats not allowed. My joke is ruined ):

[/quote] Haha. Correct. I'd also like to add that the TS seems to believe that everybody who doesn't have time to level, is a noob. Which is utterly retarded. Let's stop looking at it from the games perspective, of noob vs pro for a second and talk about maturity, which involves the real world. Is it more mature to want everybody who is low level now to stay low level forever? Or is it more mature to not really care about the 18+ year olds (with jobs) and the the little kids with limited internet time (IMO, due to good parenting), now being a closer level to you? People, if anything, should really look at it as an opportunity to interact with a bigger variety of people, other than the standard "omg, stare at my damage, LOOK AT IT!11 plzomg" crowd. Furthermore, I'd also like to add that majority of higher levels use 2x cards, family buffs, gacha and cubes to get ahead using their NX. Doing this does not give you the right to call a lower level a noob, or give you the justification to just blatantly ignore them when they say hello to you. Yes, they may have put less effort into their character, but you don't know for sure because you don't know how long they've been playing OR if they used any form of NX for personal gain. To sum up, if effort into character = level on the proness scale, you could, when talking to somebody 20 levels lower than you, be talking to somebody more "pro" than you. ;) /rant

According to your own logic people that put less effort will now be able to reach a higher level? So does that not apply to people who put more effort too? Meaning that you with your "higher effort" will be able to reach higher levels and try new classes and new content. And I agree with Efemera about holding 5th Job until more high-level content is introduced. The Van Leon Castle was a good start on high level content, but we still need more high level meta-content, and I do not mean stronger Bosses only. I mean mini-games, interesting and practical quests with a real storyline, etc. The Big Bang has its own meaning in its name, it is not only a huge explosion, but it is also the beginning. The beginning for new content that is not just more bosses and more classes, but more meta content for high level characters.
