Help! What's Better?

Well when summer hits I'm gonna start playing maple again and I'll have about 10b-12b to use for my equips. I was wondering, based on your experiences, would it be better to cube my own equips or buy them already cubed? I know if I buy things can get kind of expensive but then again I can also be very unlucky and get screwed over trying to cube. I've read a lot of threads about how people get unique in under 50 cubes and to me that's pretty good. I'd be spending around 1b per equip if I was to buy them and like 2b on a weapon. So far with cubes though, I've had some pretty crappy luck. I've used 35 cubes on a 3-lined lampion and it stayed rare and about 30 cubes on a 3-lined scarlion and it stayed rare too. I still think cubing is the better way to go but I'm not really sure. So I'm asking you guys, what do you think is better? Cubing or buying the equips ready? Thanks in advance guys! Only took 8 cubes to get 9% total damage and 8% crit from rare to unique two line lamp.

Cubing is a very risky game... i think for some equips like int% str% dex% luk% you have a better chance of hunting for it rather then cubing for.

Well i plan on getting most of my equips unique, I don't think I'd find them already unique from hunting =O

my friend found a 21% int glove that was still rare in ToT but sadly it a bowmen glove. I really think the rare-unquie titles are just titles with no worth except for gloating...

=O Sorry but I don't think it's possible to find a 21% INT glove that is still rare. Maybe it was 21 INT alone but not %.

Don't buy the potential equips from fm because it's a scam. They hide the 2 lines underneath it. You should just potential by yourself

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but I believe you are mistaken =/ It's not possible to have an item give 21% of a stat and still be rare and finding equips with a decent % amount is hard as well. The titles aren't just for gloating, there'd be no point in that then. @Above. What I meant is like buying equips that are already cubed to a decent %age. I wouldn't be buying things that are hidden potential, and if I'm going to cube myself, most things will be makered to my liking and then potentialed until I get 3 lines.

No i know your not trying to be rude, yes i probably am but i just think it just titles for gloating. Just got a txt back from my friend the info was wrong it had 2 3% int and 8 int+. so my bad. looks like i mixed up the bonus it gives and the actual lines T_T.
