Playing Maplestory in School

Hello Basilers and Maplers! Does anyone know a way of playing Maplestory in a boarding school? I am using school internet through the ethernet cable, and it is a school proxy. No online games work, such as Starcraft, WoW and Maplestory. Not even online flash games. They also have a program called WebMarshall which blocks inappropriate sites. So, does anyone think they can help me play? :P If I try to load Maplestory, I click launch, or play or whatever, and on the bottom right of the screen, the blue load bar starts to load and goes 1/10th of the way there, but then it stops there and I get an error reading. The internet works, but it's just trying to connect to the Maple server, which the school has blocked. Any helpers out there? =] And for those people who think I should just study and not play in school, I can promise you I do all the studying too, and homework, but just for a lil wee game during my free time when I needa relax! I also have 19 dolls for the Olivia chair and not 20! =[

Yeah. I do all my homework and things. But just in the weekends, or some free time at school. It'd be nice!

Vledder, if you had read my initial post, you would understand? I hate it when people don't READ what I've written. As stated, I go to a boarding school. Surely playing a bit of Maplestory is like you playing it when you come back from school?

You could probably use a "mobile usb internet router" (if thats what they are called in english) It should work perfectly fine. I think... o.O

There is a way with their internet. Use a "port 80" proxy program and find a server wich support it. I've done this plenty of times and it works fine.... with only a bit lag here and there. But getting this to work might get you in trouble and expelled cause of playing in school. Why not do your homework while borred so you have all your sparetime to play in instead of strugling with homework after school ;)?

I am guessing that your parents sent you to a boarding school exactly because they didn't want you to waste your time with such frivolities. If you indeed want to get past a proxy use "vtunnel". I am not going to put the link here because I believe it is the bad choice. Talk with your parents and if they really think you deserve it they can arrange for you to be able to play without such circumvention.

Ah, don't let those silly people tell you you shouldn't play. Everyone deserves to do what they want on their free time. Surely there are a lot of proxies and such, but I honestly think the best way for you is to get your own internet. I have my own wireless internet at school so that I can access facebook and such.

There is no way you will be able to play from your boarding school unless you use an outside proxy, and that is technically illegal for your situation anyways; I think nexon discourages proxy use, and you are essentially cheating your school's internet usage policy. However, you are going to a boarding school; I assume that you have some money to spend? Assuming this, you could perhaps purchase a 3g/4g internet subscription, and play maplestory via phone tethering, or having a dedicated wireless ISP card. I don't know how well the work with maplestory, and I would hazard a guess that it would be quite laggy. In any case, this is the only decent solution you have to play maplestory in a boarding school. If your school blocks maplestory, they do it for a reason, so you shouldn't violate their rules by trying to play maplestory on their network.

I don't get what you are trying to say here, because when you say that you don't see how his situation is any different than going to a regular school, you are proving my point.
