Once, Before the Maple world, Before everything... Existed a land, only known as Albion, deep in the city of Oakvale, lived a small boy, Known to all only as Aran... Often this Child would dream where he would be a Gallant knight, and others as an Evil Warrior. But he could never imagine the power and height of the destiny that lay before him.... He lived as a peaceful Farm boy, however, it all changed the day he turned 13.... Receiving his final birthday present from his sister, Theresa, a weapon, but not a Sharp sword or a Elven-crafted Bow, but instead a wooden stick, with an axe head on top, a Pole arm, to most this would be a simple useless object, however too Aran this was a tool used to carve his destiny, as soon as he received him, somehow, after testing it out, he managed to become, what he thought too himself as a "Master" "Perfect, Maybe I could really be a Hero..." Aran thought to himself... However, within a few hours, everything he knew and loved would be crushed and destroyed to merely nothing.... Bandits had arrived to Oakvale, burning and destroying everything and killing all who were there... And where was our "Hero", Well he was cowering, but who could blame him, poor boy would die if he didn't hide Sitting, hiding under the cloak of the scarecrow, where hopefully no one could find him, even if breath was limited, he knew that his great father would destroy them all. Soon after a few hours, the screams and terrors eventually died, and Aran decided to venture back to town, Strangely everything was burning "A hero cannot always do everything" Aran Sighed to himself Running across the bridge into the town, Aran walked in and saw What appeared to be hell. Oakvale had become a burnt town of death, piling with dead villagers, starting with his heroic father, Aran caught sight of the first dead body, and ran over to examine it, it took a few minutes to recognize who this was due to the severe attacks, But then recognizing the Plate Armour on the dead corpse's body, it was Aran's father, He laid there. Dead.Motionless, Tears struck Aran's face as he wept over him wishing he could die alongside his hero, His Best friend and One true guardian was dead. However Weeping wasn't the best option just then, he heard a maniacal laughter as a Giant and stocky Bandit ran towards him with a sword and blood drenched clothes, Aran stood up just remembering the Pole arm by his side, Pulling it out, he Struck quickly at the Bandit and thought furiously with a cold Vendetta, however the Bandit was older and much more strong and experienced than Aran and knocked him down... About to Go for the final kill Aran could see the light... All his loved ones reaching towards him, he embraced them, but then saw fire and a cold devil waiting for him. Aran Jumped back up realising that he was still alive and just managing to escape Hell, taking back a look at his surroundings and glancing the cold Dead bandit at his feet... I like it, sounds good so far. Add me if you want(Replied in your other thread as well), call me Jerry....as for the role...I do not know? What role could a Evan have in the story about a Aran? Perhaps I could teach you some stuff but then you venture off to learn Melee-type moves or something? Could also be some type of protector? Was thinking about the giant man with fire glowing in one hand and ice in the other...Mir can use both those types of moves and Mir is big as well..Hmm. It's up to you though. I'm not picky aha Just giving you ideas.

..why does this sound almost exactly like Fable? Albion, Oakvale..hello? If this is a cross-over, ok, I understand. But don't play it off as if you created the world, town, etc. Heck, your beginning narration is almost word for word the commentary at the start of that game. Also, you have a number of errors in regards to grammar and punctuation. Much can be improved with this story, but it's a decent start.

The original aran story is still the best that maple has manage to come up with... the evan story is pretty lame.. (lil boys and michael jackson dragons... smh..) the dual blader story could have been avoided (seriously.. train a group of thieves just because you suspect your bf killed your father even though u have no proof? FAIL!) ..However, the aran is the story of a once legendary hero.. who stood against the dark mage alone to save everyone, froze in time, awoken in the future and embarks on a journey to regain his memories and restore his former glory... now that's epic. More OT: Yea, it's pretty good... wouldnt be surprised if some shads flamed this thread.

This text sounds original and sweet. It'd be fine if I could be in it. I'd be "Ozzy the Merchant". I could sell some cheap pro stuff, like do some black marketing. Then you get your eyes on the forbidden mask and you turn into a hippo. Jolly good times. n_n
