Dont get me wrong I have a life and dont play this game religiously.. lol it only took me 3 months of 8x exp to acheive a 13x Evan but.....A lot of my RL friends think maplestory is for little kiddies and its simple... LOL there isn't anything simple about MS. To become a "PRO" in MS it takes dedication and a keen mind. I find that the majority of high levels(130+) are the ages of 16+... And kids that are 15 and below tend to be in the 30-90(level) range. What im saying is kids that are younger than 15 dont seem to have the patience to get a high level. Trust me i know i started playing ms when Ludi was patched back when i was 15 and it was hell. I quit and recently started back up June 29th 2010. Now im 20 and what do you know i have an easy 13x. Call maplestory what you want be please dont call it a kiddie game or simple. Does anyone agree? Btw i typed this up really fast so pardon my grammar!

Lol. You're comparing when you were young when there was almost nowhere to get really fast exp to now. The exp rate right now is probably 10x faster than it was back then.

yea alot of the higher levels are 130+ but i dont think its a patience thing, in fact i think little 8 year olds have more patience sometimes. however little kids age 8-10 tend to play maple more but do not have enough nx for 4x as most of the older kids do

In the end, dedication on a game will result as a game. If you achieving level 130 takes dedication and time, that's plausible indeed, but that doesn't make a game more than a game. What makes this game more than a game is the social factor. We meet with other people and we talk with them as well, whether it's anonymously or friendly. But games such as FPS games require quite a bit of practice to get good; games such as RPG games (especially final fantasy) require a lot of work on character build and grinding in order to be able to defeat the super-difficult bosses. Every game requires some patience and dedication, and if dedication to get to a certain level made a game more than a game, all games would be more than just a game. Sure there are other factors to games, but we're talking generally.

Not an easy game, not a simple game, a bad game? Yes. Maplestory is a horrible game, but you just can't stop. I've quit for poptag. Coming back after BB to sell my stuff and MTS. Then its all Fable, Halo, CoD, and Fallout. :D No Black Ops

I don't think this game is simple at all. You have to organize everything to be able to boss efficiently. You also have to learn the market to make sure you are getting the prices right and find out when's the best time to sell/buy. You also have to have good relations with people to have successful boss parties. It's not that simple. I definitely haven't seen a younger kid organize a boss run.

People assume that MapleStory is a so-called "kiddie" game only because it's a 2D Side-Scrolling game where everything looks like it's Anime.
