Post Big Bang Gunslinger Skill Guide by Halfhearted This is my first guide, so if I missed something, made a mistake, or you see a better way to do things, or have something about this guide you wanna get off your chest (please no flaming) just leave a comment or PM me, and Ill take a look at it. Any and all constructive criticism is appreciated. I figured Id try my hand at guide-making, after being inspired by j0s3a4ds Post-BB bandit guide. I am listing 2 builds for each job advancement, since theres always a different way to do things. If you come up with a 3rd option for anything, let me know and I might stick it in here with your name on top. Oh, and if someone could tell me how to make a working table of contents where you click on the link and it takes you to that part of the guide, please let me know in a PM or comment. Table of Contents First Job Damage-First Build " class="sprite basilLink"> Damage-First Build Potion-Saving Build " class="sprite basilLink"> Potion-Saving Build Second Job Invisible Shot Build " class="sprite basilLink"> Invisible Shot Build Grenade Build " class="sprite basilLink"> Grenade Build Third Job Fast-Dice Build " class="sprite basilLink"> Fast-Dice Build Late-Dice Build " class="sprite basilLink"> Late-Dice Build Old-School Build " class="sprite basilLink"> Old-School Build Fourth Job Credits And now, without further ado: 1st Job: Level 10-30 Build 1: Damage First 10: 1 Double Shot 11-16: 3 Double Shot 17: 1 Double Shot (max), 2 Bullet Time 18-23: 3 Bullet Time (max) 24-26: 3 Dash 27: 1 Dash (max), 2 Somersault Kick/Flash Fist 28-30: 3 Somersault Kick (abbreviated SSK from now on) (level 11) End Result : Max Double Shot, Bullet Time, Dash. SSK at level 11. Explanation : You max Double Shot first for the damage and range, then Bullet Time to save a few pots, then Dash cause its better than SSK or FF, then dump the remaining points into SSK cause it mobs. Build 2: Potion Saver 10: 1 Double Shot 11-16: 3 Bullet Time 17: 2 Bullet Time (max), 1 Double Shot 18-23: 3 Double Shot (max) 24-26: 3 Dash 27: 1 Dash (max), 2 Somersault Kick 28-30: 3 Somersault Kick (level 11) End Result : Max Double Shot, Bullet Time, Dash. SSK at level 11. Explanation : Potions are supposed to drop like mad and be mega cheap post BB, but I figured some people are gonna do it anyway, so why not post it? 2nd Job: Level 30-70 Build 1: Invisible Shot 30: 1 Invisible Shot 31-36: 3 Invisible Shot 37: 1 Invisible Shot (max), 2 Mastery 38-43: 2 Mastery (max) 44-45: 3 Booster (level 6) 46-48: 3 Critical Shot 49: 1 Critical Shot (max), 2 Wings 50: 3 Wings 51-56: 3 Recoil Shot 57: 2 Recoil Shot (max), 1 Wings 58: 3 Wings 59: 1 Wings (max), 2 Booster 60-63: 3 Booster (max) 64-69: 3 Blank Shot 70: 2 Blank Shot (max), 1 Grenade/SSK End Result : Max Invisible Shot, Mastery, Booster, Critical Shot, Wings, Recoil Shot, Blank Shot. Grenade at level 1. Explanation : Max Invisible Shot for mobbing, then Mastery to stabilize damage. Get 6 Booster so that it

You need more organization. I could barely stand to read it. Also, if you want to make it look more like a guide, add features of a guide, especially a credits section for those videos. Look at other recently updated guides for help. Here is the mini-guide to guides I used when making mine- http://www.basilmarket.com/show/tags_help Note that some of these features only work on official stickied guides.

Darkclaw121 then make a brawler instead0_o In all seriousness, it would just set your other 1st job skills back by 1 point. Considering how fast 1st job is, it wouldn't really matter.

I was just joking. Miss-clicking a single point in 1st job wont hurt you.

In first job, wouldn't Bullet Time be better then SSK? We have no minimum range now so we don't need SSK for when they are too close. Also the extra avoid always helps. The only downside is that you don't have a mobbing attack till 2nd job, but those levels go so fast anyway and rarely should a monster be close enough for you to have to use it. Thats what I did on my Sair atm and its just another option for people to consider, mind you, my builds never follow guides.

awesome work and keep it up. i have one question, would it not be better to put 1 in battleship and then 2 into cannon right as you get to 4th job? everywhere else it says otherwise....

evilkaz that's what I put, isn't it? mcscrad well, it's really up to preference. I've seen points go pretty much all over the board at 120, I'll just put what I think makes sense. iFatalPunch I know, I know. You won't even be able to scratch newts until level 110 or something. I made the build is just for the sake of those people who want to go "old school" for a challenge or merely for the sake of reliving the "good old days" or something. It's not a serious build, just a bit of a joke. (in case you couldn't pick up on that by reading my attempt at a humorous story) Edit: Although I HAVE added a disclaimer or sorts to the "newt" build.

Here is a sample Table of Contents based on your Guide: First name your headers: ie: [.header=FJ]First Job[./header] Then on the Table of Contents do this [.s=/forum/1761291/#FJ]First Job[./s] It should work.
