No matter what upgrades Nexon makes, Old Maplestory will always top New Maplestory. State your opinions on which is better, why or why not below.

If you dont like it, find another game. If you seriously liked taking like 6.02*10^23 million years to get to level 50, then you seriously has issues...

wow the new maple, even without the big bang, is way better than the old maple i mean come on grueling exp curves that made it next to impossible to get 3rd jobs i remember friends selling the 3rd job accounts for PSPs, $300, the like i was seeing vaccing, godmode, everywhere back in those days these days maplestory lets you get to higher levels faster and letting you experience the game a lot more 3 years ago i never imagined TOUCHING a boss now they came out with a lot of bosses if u think about it, leafre would also be considered the NEW maple ariant, leafre, magatia, nlc, ereve, singapore i love just traveling to these places and seeing the "themed monsters" and cwkpq, gspq, dragon rider pq, ellin forest pq, apq, gpq (albeit i still havent experienced some) would you guys give up all this for the old maple? no. way. gotta agree with everyone though the COMMUNITY was way better in the old maple this new maple full of damage whores, merches, nx whores, exclusive pqs, BF police (even heard of a gallo police o_0) has a lot of aholes, but yeah in terms of gameplay new maple ftw.

Maple Story as it currently exists is a VAST improvement over the game that came just out of beta. There are far more places do go, far more things to do and far more classes to do them as. The game systems have been improved multiple times and most major hacker infestations have been eliminated. The only (and I mean ONLY) thing that the "old Maple Story" had going for it was a more mature, respectful community.

wow, i swear no1 has really said why old maple was fun. I played in old maple as a lvl 4x and i play now as a 7x. The reason i enjoyed old maple is because when you saw someone that was high level, u knew that they put in the effort. People could level to 50 with alot of effort, and it was respectible, now if ur a DB, u can get to lvl 50 in a matter of days. Also nexon introduced 2x from CS and MTS and cubes, which in my opinion has somewhat ruined the game. It's still fine gameplay wise, but doing something like that ruins the morals of the game. Look at WoW as an example, everyone pays the same amount and has no advantage if they pay more, unlike maplestory. Nexon is being greedy, and if they wanted to truly make this a successful game, i think they would take out the whole real money = in game advantages. Also in old maplestory, bossing was serious... you actually needed like 6 people and people to do something. now u just need a lvl 130+ and basically any boss will die in less than a hour. I'm not actually saying i like old maple more than new maple, i just dont think anyone has really touched on what made old maple good. Also everyone saying BB > EVERYTHING... u havent even played it so maybe keep your opinions until Nexon actually implements it.

It's like saying you're childhood is so much better than your teenage or adulthood. There's ups and downs for everything. What makes childhood or teenage so appealing are the memories that you have. You would think back about how good it is, and how you want to relive it again. But that's because you're already tired of your current stage. If you WERE REALLY to go back in time, you would hate it.

i prefered old maples community and prices lol i mean it was so easy to make friends back then but now....now everyones just concerned about their dmg and crap is expensive as hell now or somethings are extremely cheap

If nexon NEVER changed anything about Maple and left it in it's prehistoric state, guess how many MORE people would be complaining? Although Nexon irks me, I must applaud it's efforts to constantly expand and update Maple.
