So I've noticed a lot of guys on Basilmarket talking about their relationships. So I'm going to share some of my observations and advice. Anyways to sum it up, I've been in 3 relationships and I've started to notice a trend going on. I used to think that as long as you were nice and caring, the girl would realize and appreciate it, although they won't admit it being nice is really mundane and boring to them. So my first relationship she told me about her d-bag ex boyfriends and how they just wanted to get in her pants. We agreed to keep it slow, like REAL slow. I think I was aiming for first kiss (with her--) first month. I helped her with her homework, had some nice times, got basically WHIPPED. Three weeks later, she calls it off and tell me its because she felt like we were just ordinary friends. Second relationship was generally the same thing, talked to her a lot, helped her with stuff. One month later she tells me she thinks that I don't really like her much at all, and I'm just with her, because I want to be in a relationship regardless of who it is. So after getting massively raged up for about a week, had some good advice from some of my guy friends, decided to drop the nice guy persona and see how things go from there. I stopped helping all my female acquaintances with anything they asked, and only went out with them IF I felt like it. Basically just treated them normally, as if I would treat my guy friends. However I made sure that we still had a good time mutually when I did decide to go out with them. Anyways, it's only been 2 weeks into the school year and I've had to turn down 4 girls (because of immense school-work and etc). To summarize, take it from someone who tried it both ways. If your too nice to a girl, in her eyes you are no longer a sexual entity, you become mundane and bland like a brother.....or a lamp. What you SHOULD do is make sure both of you are having a good time whenever your with her (at school, movies, group hangouts whatever), but make sure your not always readily available to her. This does not mean you should be a D-bag, but you shouldn't cater to her every whim. It's woman physiology, they aren't attracted to easy conquests. If your 13 years old or younger, those hormone infused individuals will go for anything. This is more for high school and beyond :] Post questions below and discuss.

Doesn't it depend on the girl too? If she likes nice guys and she treats you as well as you treat her, then she's worth it.

3 personal experiences + numerous experiences from other people I know :] not saying it's impossible, but this is generally what happens. and if you have a girlfriend and your a nice-guy it usually ends up with the girl breaking up

Yeah, woman tend to get a jump of intelligence after the age of 18 and realize that d-bags are indeed d-bags. But honestly, if you kind of have a "I'm too good for you" act during high school, chicks will be all over that. I've been doing that a bit and its working.
