Hey! I haven't really been active on basil lately and that probably doesn't even matter because no one knows of me anyways. Well I'm working with WATERCOLOURS! And I love it. Firstly, I want some CnC on these: http://i52.tinypic.com/20ur5ew.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/n3kagw.jpg I don't want critique on the anatomy or whatever. I want critique on the style/how I used the watercolours/my colour usage. Secondly, I want to paint a few basilers using watercolours. I'll only be picking about 3-6 people. Please note I'll only be picking your character if it's easy enough for me to paint it.

Try experimenting with different sized brushes. The red strokes in the hair are a little too harsh in the first picture. The second picture looks fine though since shades of purples/blues are in the same range.

I was planning on buying more brushes this weekend. xxSwimmerGirl No... I'm Korean.

The colours are nice and soft in the 1st though the cheeks look like big red eyes ): The second's skin is really nicely shaded on the face. The lips seems to stand out a bit too much, but perhaps thats what you were going for~ Makes me want to paint with watercolours too, lol ^-^ *raises hand to volunteer*

Hmmmm maybe try a couple more colors and experiment with shadowing and blending? I don't use watercolors. The closest thing I have is watercolor pencils xD
