witch hats vs zhelms/scars/targas etc

we have these godly witch hats selling in fm which can match the ap stats on these helms but why are people still buying zhelms?

A clean Zhelm/Scarlion has better protection, potential bonuses, weapon and magic defense, accuracy, and overall stats than a godly scrolled witch hat. The only real reason I can think of to choose a witch hat over a Scarlion/Targa/Zhelm would be the level requirement, and even then, the class-specified boss helms (Marbas, Amus, etc.) still provide better weapon def than witch hats. Edit: @Tuyend Yes, because F5ing constantly in PQs greatly improves teamwork. ./sarcasm

What is considered a good Witch Hat anyway? But yeah, I think they're fine for your beginning levels, but switch to the Z Helm when you meet the requirements/have the money.

EASY: More wep defence 10 slots instead of 0! Magic Def Accuracy +15 to all stats (average ofcourse) instead of 1-2 if godly

the only pros of witch hats I can think of are becuz of 1) the 30 lower levels then zhelm 2) tradable 3) er.... Light weight -3-? Just sayin ;) one more thing, a pro hat doesnt need have all 4 stats +15(compare to zhelm)....the maximum stats each class use are only 2 stat (warrior: str + dex) But this does not include the ones that like to mp wash...(higher INT)

Talking Witch Hat Pros • Low level requirement to wear • With such a high drop rate for Dark Tokens from monsters, one can easily be obtained, as well as obtaining the scrolls which could give it good stats. • Looks better than any of the other Godly hats (personal opinion) • Has the highest extra MP compared to any of the godly hats Cons • Low weapon defence, magic defence, avoidability and accuracy. • Scrolls will not always work to the user's expectations • Gives low potential stats.

You can definitely benefit from a good witch hat, but upgrade as soon as you can anyway. Not only do you have the issues that LEGENDairy has already posted but the extra INT of these items does actually help raise your MP a bit as you level up.
